Bunbury Regional Hospital
Contract: Demolition of a five (5) storey hospital including associated miscellaneous buildings consisting of approximately 35,000 tonnes of concrete waste material.
Duration: 6 months
The project was one of the more intricate jobs we have undertaken due to the fact that the building was not induced, therefore we had to deconstruct from the roof downwards using a small 2tonne excavator.
All concrete and rubble from the site was processed through J&P Group’s mobile Crushing Plant and used as road base.
After the removal of the old hospital and associated footings, J&P Deconstruction carried out extensive land rehabilitation to achieve the final ground levels required for the proposed subdivision.
